Streets:

Staff
installed the Fallen Fire Fighters Banner

Staff has
repaired a number of street lights

repainted a number of crosswalks

the tree in front of 700 W. Main Street

supervised the installation of permanent "speed
bumps" on Lincoln Avenue and South School Lane
Water:

Rainbow Lake
is now 2.0 feet below the spillway, and our five
wells have dropped a total of seventy-nine (79) feet (an
average of 15.8 feet each) since July 23, 2007
until October 3, 2007

The roughing
filters are now being backwashed three times per day
and the DE filters are being done once per week
-
The earlier instituted water use
restrictions were having mixed results and they have
been enhanced to prohibit all outdoor water use
-

Water
production and consumption. We produced and
purchased an average of 367,054 gpd. We consumed
an average of 318,442 gpd
-
The
difference is "Backwash Water" ...(13.2%). We purchased
848,000 gals.
of water from MSM this month.
